Proposal Summary of Proposals on Chestnut
These SFMTA wants to eliminate Chestnut Street bus stops at:
Scott, St. Mallorca, Octavia, and Gough or Franklin. They also want bulbouts on 35 street corners, elimination of 13 parking spaces in the commercial district, and 22 parking spaces in the residential area, and a traffic light installed at Steiner Street and Chestnut Street. Why are they spending money on controversial projects when they are claim Muni is broke and the Super Bowl Party will cost millions more? You could house a lot of homeless people with all the money going into bulbouts. Where are our priorities?
These plans along with plans to slow traffic on Lombard, will bring downtown-style traffic jams to Cow Hollow and the Marina. STOP THIS INSANITY NOW! Contact the Marina Cow Hollow Neighbors and Merchants for details on how you can help.
